Professional artists for 30 years, Deborah and Chip started DuPont Studio in 1985. Both just out of school, we think we were just naive enough to believe we could actually make our living as working artists. It has been an incredible journey with plenty of highs and lows, but there is not much we would change, even if we could.
Professional highlights include many "Best of" awards at the top juried art exhibitions across the U.S. From Miami to Seattle and New York to California our art has been collected by thousands of enthusiasts from across the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and Latin America. We have had our art on movies, TV shows and book covers. It hangs in corporate collections of American Express and others; as well as in hospitals and numerous offices. We have owned our own gallery, raised two wonderful self-reliant children, traveled the world and it all stems from our passion to create. What a ride!
