Others often tell me they enjoy seeing the world through my
eyes. My goal is to capture
the simple essence of my architectural subject, isolating
it from its surroundings,
and creating an emotional response
with the addition of color.
Recording images only in
black and white, I personally print each photograph using
traditional darkroom
techniques. I then hand-paint each piece with
oils, allowing me to physically
interact with the image, to complete the original
work. Combining
painting with photography allows me to create a
pleasing ambiguity and
project; not reality, but rather my unique vision. |
